Business Specialist
Emilie is an Instructor, Lecturer, and Career Coach in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She enjoys her unique role as both a career coach and as a professor of business career exploration—a required course for all business students—that allows her to be a mentor for those who are just beginning their career journey. She previously worked as a Visiting Professor within the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University, where she taught classes on parenting, adolescence, media, and family systems. She earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Human Development from BYU and a certificate in Leadership from the University of Utah. Having worked in business and higher education for over a decade, she has developed a passion for the visibility and acceptance of disability and neurodiversity, especially autism. She enjoys reading from all genres and spending time with her spouse and daughter.
Since childhood, Emilie’s favorite book and movie adaptation has been Matilda.
